TRAMPLED LOVE LETTER ENVELOPE
Uncared and discarded like waste,
Got trampled by men in haste,
Washed away by whims of indifference,
My soul inside died in silence.
I carried inside me feelings of a lover,
But feelings got washed away in sewer,
Picked up by a scavenger from the gutter,
My heart has started to flutter.
Trampled along were hopes and dreams,
Scattered pieces letting out screams,
Enduring fate in its extremes,
Suffering from time's vilest schemes.
Those days when I was sealed with a kiss,
I can't help but to reminisce,
Hopes dashed away as fast as an antelope,
Lanes are littered with trampled envelopes.
