APATHEIA

 

Freedom from passions,

That provokes us to violent animation,

Not boisterous celebrations,

Feeling of bliss on all occasions.

Shed fear but hold caution,

Just hear your soul’s volition,

It is not about feeling’s elimination,

Let not passions add to soul’s contamination.

In anger, don’t let eye balls roll,

For things that are not in your control.

Whatever life may throw at us,

Keep calm, don’t make fuss.

Live, in agreement with nature,

In serenity, find rapture,

Let actions express virtues,

Nothing in world can hurt you.
