ANCESTORS' NIGHT OUT.

When the ancestors left the photo frames at night ........

Away from our cramped monotony,

Free from a human body & it's anatomy,

From the confines of framed existence

Let us slip out to roam free, go the distance.

To places unseen in earth and above,

Let us fly there like a dove

Wandering through the wild lands,

All at our  heart's commands,

Once we lived in pomp and fame,

Now they arrested us in a photo frame,

Let us slip out and go for a night prowl,

In to the deserted street, where dogs howl.

We hear these are pandemic times,

An ambulance sped past with loud chimes,

With N-95 masks let's cover our faces,

And get lost in city's lanes and spaces.

The lost moments, let's again recapture.

Hand in hand, let's run to make rapture,

Where waves kiss shore  in frenzy

Let us paint the town red to other's envy.

Candlelight dinner in a treetop eatery,

In mirth, our eyes become watery,

A night to remember, so heavenly,

Dancing to the tune of heartbeat's melody.

When the world is snoring in deep slumber,

Let our passions burn deeply like embers,

Drenched in the downpour of ecstasy,

Ah, it feels better than any fantasy,

This Night out, memory will linger for years,

So is love's melody, till there are stars,

Basking in sunshine of afterlife honeymoon,

Unlocking secrets from our deep with in.

Crimson fire rose to vanquish darkness,

World is about to wake to greet brightness,

Going back to photo frame at dawn's arrival,

Thus ended our night out and love's carnival.
